Quick home screen tour

Ninja Number’s home screen is going to look a little different depending on what subscreen you’ve selected on the bottom. The home screen in the screen shot above shows from the Messages tab, but every short cut you need displays the same depending on the tab, so let’s just take a brief look at where you can go from the home screen.

At the top of the screen, you’ll see the hamburger menu, your Ninja Number and the Ninjabot.

At the bottom of the screen, you’ll see the tabs for Unanswered, Recent, Contacts and Messages, which are all different screens. We’ll get more information on each of these later on in the article, so hang tight.

Unanswered tab

Here you’ll see the calls and messages that you haven’t responded to. This is a nifty way that we remind you that you need to reply to these calls and messages. When you tap on an unanswered, a popup window will display, giving you the option to call or text back. You can also toggle from “Needs Response” to “Already Responded” and that call or message will move from the Unanswered screen to Recent.

This display includes a search bar so you can find contacts quickly. Or you can filter by contact type – All, Inquiry, Initial Contact, Qualified Lead, Customer or VIP. Once you make your selection, you’ll be back on the Unanswered screen and you’ll see your filter. Just tap the X and the filter will be cleared.

From this display, you’ll see an orange circle with white dots. Tap this icon, and you’ll be able to make a call, send a text or add a contact.

Recent tab

Recents_tab__home_screen_.PNG

The Recent screen is your entire call and text history. This is great for call tracking, because you can not only see what calls or texts have been responded to, but also who responded – if you have linked phones. So let’s say you see a call came in from your vendor, but it’s been responded to already.  You can see that your team member Larry responded by call, so now you can ask Larry how that conversation went. Or Larry responded via text, you can open up the text thread and read what he talked about with your vendor. Pretty nice!

The Recent screen also has a search bar for quickly finding a phone number or contact. There’s also a phone icon so you can make a new call if needed.

From the main screen display, you’ll see an orange circle with white dots. Tap this icon, and you’ll be able to make a call, send a text or add a contact.

Contacts tab

Here’s where you’ll see all your contacts, of course! There’s a search bar to help you find a specific contact quickly. Next to the search bar, there’s a add contact icon (person silhouette with a + [plus] sign).

When you select a contact, you’ll see tons of useful information. The first tab is “Info,’ which displays all of the contact’s information you’ve stored, including number, contact type and more. To edit the contact type, select the down arrow. The second tab is "Messages,” where you’ll be able to view all voicemails from the contact and all text conversations. The last tab is “All Calls,” which is your entire call history with that contact. You also have the option to edit the contact by selecting “Edit” in the top right corner.

From the main screen of this display, you’ll see an orange circle with white dots. Tap this icon, and you’ll be able to make a call, send a text or add a contact.

Messages tab

You can view all of your messages here. At the top of the screen, you’ll see a search bar to quickly locate messages between contacts. Next to it is a new message icon (pencil and paper) where you can start a new text.

When you click on your messages, it will open up directly to that message. It’s a great way to keep all your text communications in one spot! If you’d rather call directly, tap the phone icon in the top right corner and the app will automatically input the contact’s number. Just hit the green phone button under the dial pad and you’re good to call this contact!

From the main screen of this display, you’ll see an orange circle with white dots. Tap this icon, and you’ll be able to make a call, send a text or add a contact.

NinjaBot icon

The Ninjabot icon will display on every screen, whether you’re in Unanswered, Recent, Contacts or Messages. It’s the little Ninja dude icon in the top right corner. That’s because it is always ready to help! Just tap the icon and you’ll be able to make changes to whatever you want! Whether it’s recording your voicemail greeting, adding or deleting team members or making changes to Auto-ReplyNinjaBot has you covered!

A happy customer

The owner of Catch My Drift Snowplowing was incredibly pleased with his decision to download Ninja Number. He had tried other virtual phone line apps in the past and all he ever ended up was being confused. Just looking at the home screen, he could tell that all the information he needed to know was laid on cleanly, concisely and all right at his fingertips. No more scrolling, switching from multiple screens or getting lost. His life was already getting simplified.. I mean, Ninja-fied!
