The NextPBX is the ultimate Virtual PBX for your small business. Whether you require a local or toll free number, this auto attendant service will adapt to the way you work by providing a main greeting with multiple mailboxes. Each mailbox can be configured between four different applications of your choice. These applications include: voicemail, hotline, direct dial or your own personal virtual assistant.
The NextPBX service offers flexibility unlike any other virtual phone system. Your business will operate more efficiently and be more productive with the presence management tools NextPBX provides.
For easy management, all messages are sent to your e-mail in MP3 or WAV file format and your NextPBX number will also act as a fax machine, allowing you to send and receive faxes. Just like messages, faxes are sent to your e-mail, as a PDF or TIF file. You will have the ability to send files to a fax machine from your account dashboard online. [ top ]
What is the SimplyONE service how can it help my business?
With the SimplyONE you get your own local or toll free telephone number that can be switched between four (4) different applications. Choose between: voicemail, 24 hour recorded hotline, re-direct number, or a complete virtual personal assistant. Whatever the application, there are no connect charges, debited minutes, or additional usage fees for inbound calls or messages to your local SimplyONE.
The SimplyOne gives you all of the presence management options as the NextPBX with the exception of features associated with extensions. These features include the Dial By Name Directory, Daytime/After hours main greeting and Fax On Demand capabilities. [ top ]
How much will it cost to start up service?
To get started you only have to pay for the first month of service. There are no taxes, hidden fees or setup fees. SimplyONE plans start at $9.95 per month and NextPBX plans start at $9.95 per month. [ top ]
Do I have to purchase any hardware or equipment?
No, the only thing you need after signing up for a NextPBX or SimplyOne service is any type of phone and a computer with internet access. [ top ]
How long does it take before I can use the service after signing up?
Your number will be ready to use in a matter of minutes. All orders are instantly provisioned online. As soon as sign up is complete, setup information and account information will be sent to the e-mail address that you provide. After you receive your information it is up to you to configure your voice mail settings, but you can always contact our Technical Support team by submitting a Trouble Ticket from our “Customer Support” web page or you can call 1.866.766.5050 ext.4 with any questions.
How does virtual faxing work?
The NextPBX and SimplyOne services have the ability to act as a fax machine, allowing your customers to send faxes to your number. Faxes are then emailed to you and accessible online.
The VPA and VMail applications are the only ones that recognize this capability. If your service is set to the Hotline or Redirect applications, you will not be able to send or receive faxes. [ top ]
How do I change my service to a different application?
You will need to login to your account online to change the application that your service is set to. [ top ]
How do I upgrade, downgrade or order a new number for my existing account?

Will my settings for each application be saved?
Yes, each application will save the previous settings until you modify them again. All of your greetings will stay in place and the forwarding numbers will not be removed if the application of service is changed. You will not be required to go through and setup again. [ top ]
What is the Virtual Calling Card feature?
The Virtual Calling Card feature allows users to place outbound phone calls from their NextPBX or SimplyONE number.
By placing a call from your service number the recipient of the call will be able to see your NextPBX or SimplyONE number on their caller ID. This allows you to protect your privacy and also provide potential customers with your business number.
The Virtual Calling Card can be used from any phone (landline or cell phone). [ top ]
Does the NextPBX or SimplyONE require a contract?
No, all VoiceNation services are setup on a month to month basis under our 30 day money-back guarantee. [ top ]
Can I choose my own number?
Yes, when you sign up online you will be provided a list of all the numbers we have available in our inventory. You will be able to choose your number based on the city and state, area code, or toll free preference.

Can I have multiple local numbers on the same account?
Yes, you can have as many numbers on your account. Pricing varies based on the type of service you need on the numbers. Please contact a sales representative at 866.766.5050 ext to have additional numbers added to your account. [ top ]
How long can I record my voicemail greeting?
For local numbers your outgoing greeting can be up to 5 minutes long. For toll free numbers you can record a greeting of unlimited length. If you would like a local number with an unlimited greeting record length there is an extra monthly fee of $19.95. [ top ]
How many extensions can the NextPBX have?
We offer 4 different plans that include different amounts of extensions. The smallest number of extensions we offer is 5 and the largest plan we offer is 50. How many phone numbers can my NextPBX or SimplyOne number be forwarded to at the same time?
The NextPBX and SimplyOne services can call up to 5 numbers, simultaneously or cascading. [ top ]
Can my NextPBX or SimplyONE number forward to other countries?
At this time calls can only be forwarded to numbers within the United States. [ top ]
How many calls can the NextPBX or SimplyONE handle at once?
Local numbers can receive up to four simultaneous calls. Toll free numbers can receive up to 23 simultaneous calls. Custom applications to accept larger call volumes can be accommodated. Please contact email@example.com for more information. [ top ]
Can the NextPBX or SimplyOne be used as just voice mail?
Absolutely! Both services have a voicemail only application that you can turn on or off online. [ top ]
Do I need to change my local and long distance carrier?
No, you will not have to change any of your personal numbers because your NextPBX or SimplyONE number will work with your existing carriers, allowing you to keep your existing office, cell, or home phone number.
You can have calls forwarded to your landline and/or cell, allowing you to use your NextPBX or SimplyONE as your business number without needing to release your personal phone numbers to customers. [ top ]
Can I buy a number from another company and use it with VoiceNation?
Yes! You can purchase a number with another carrier and assuming that they allow you to port the number away; you can bring it to us for a one time fee of $150.
You will need to contact our sales department at 1.866.766.5050 ext. 2 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to provide us with the information needed to begin the porting process. The porting process time varies depending on the carriers that we are porting to or from so please allow at least 30 days for your number to be successfully ported. [ top ]
